Miguel A. García (aka Xedh) from the Basque country, is one of the most dynamic sound artists in the Spanish scene. His work focuses mainly on the composition and electro-acoustic improvisation. He uses sounds taken from electronic devices residues, often interrelated with field recordings or acoustic instruments, in the search of an intimate, intense and immersive experience. A music of adventurous forms, full of contrasts and having nevertheless a sense of humor. His background comprises fine arts and audiovisual technology, questioning the borders between electro-acoustic academic music, industrial music and the so called outsider music.

With his solo project or different groups, he has played in festivals in countries like Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, The Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Poland, Portugal, Russia & USA. His work has been released worldwide by many labels, including Auditory Field Theory, Copy For Your Records, Geraeuschmanufaktur, Hideous Replica, Insub, Intonema, Pilgrim Talk, Rhizome.s, Mikroton, Nueni or Zeromoon.

He works regularly with musicians like Ilia Belorukov, Sebastien Branche, Jean-Luc Guionnet, Alfredo Costa Monteiro, Seijiro Murayama or Hector Rey, and has collaborated with artists such Lali Barriere, Heddy Boubaker, Alexander Bruck, Kurt Liedwart or Nick Hoffman. As a promoter, amongst other projects, is the founder of the Club Le Larraskito and director of the Zarata Fest, both platforms dedicated to the broadcast of challenging art and music.


Ilia Belorukov is a musician from Saint-Petersburg, Russia. He works in the direction of improvised, noise and electroacoustic music. He’s a member of different projects such as Wozzeck, Mars-96 and others. He collaborates with musicians who work in other genres (from hardcore and metal to academic contemporary music); with dancers and painters; with theater. Ilia practices an experimental approach of sound extraction on alto saxophone with objects, uses laptop, electric-guitar and other instruments. Also he is a founder of Intonema label (www.intonema.org). Organizer of events in Russia, co-organizer of the Teni Zvuka festival in Saint-Petersburg, writer of Contemporary Music magazine (www.cmmagazine.tumblr.com).

Ilia had played with such musicians as Keith Rowe, Alfredo Costa Monteiro, David Stackenas, Radu Malfatti, Lucio Capece, Jason Kahn, Birgit Ulher, Ignaz Schick, Jonas Kocher, Gaudenz Badrutt, Stefan Thut, Arturas Bumsteinas, Thomas Buckner, Bryan Eubanks, Jack Wright, Andrew Drury, Andrey Popovskiy, Alexei Borisov, Kurt Liedwart and many others. Released his works on labels Mikroton (Russia), Copy For Your Records (USA), Hideous Replica (UK), Ilse (USA), Intonema (Russia), QuasiPop (Ukraine), 1000fussler (Germany) and others.
